Keep the company that handles your card payments. Use your terminal separately, or ask us to check whether your account and reader can connect to Vintique. When connected, Vintique sends the sale amount to your reader and brings the payment result back to your register. Starting fresh? Yes. Upload your Mall Sales Manager folder as a ZIP, or bring CSV exports from SimpleConsign, Ricochet, Quail Point-of-Sale, and other systems. Preview the records before importing. We can help you prepare the files and review the results; available data and recovery options depend on the source and any activity after import.
Yes. Vintique fits any shop running on a booth-rental or consignment model — antique malls, thrift stores, vintage co-ops, and resale boutiques. The data model is booth-based consignment from the ground up, and the register, item lookup, mall-wide gift cards, and reports all work the same way regardless of what the storefront calls itself. Even pure-donation thrift stores can run Vintique by treating donations as a single internal "booth" and using the rest of the system as a normal retail POS.
Yes. Every plan includes an optional public mall catalog. The operator enables it in Settings, and vendors choose which items to list. Item links preview the title, description, and published photo; share previews deliberately omit prices. Product metadata describes the item, but does not guarantee search placement or shopping results. Buyers browse the catalog and arrange local pickup; there is no online checkout.
Yes. From the item editor, generate a marketplace-ready draft listing for a single item — pricing pre-populated from comparable listings. Booth owners do it per item from their drafts queue; admins can bulk-generate across the whole inventory. Each draft is exported in the marketplace's expected format so you finish the listing on their site. There's a daily quota included on every plan.
Any booth owner record marked active counts toward your plan. You can deactivate seasonal vendors at any time without losing their history — and reactivate them later.
An already-open register can queue cash sales on that device during an outage and send them when the connection returns. Card readers and gift-card balance checks need a connection. Keep the register open and confirm queued sales have sent before closing out the day.
Yes. Open Settings → Billing to preview a change. Upgrades take effect after payment succeeds; downgrades start at renewal. Your active dealer count must fit the new plan. You can also switch from monthly to annual billing there.
No. Vintique runs in a browser on any modern device — laptops, tablets, phones. Many malls use an iPad at the register and a laptop in the office. Booth owners and operators can also use the iOS companion app on their iPhones; pair the device once with a code from your web dashboard.
Yes. The Vintique iOS companion app is included on every plan and works for both booth owners and operators. Snap an Identify photo from the aisle and get a comparable-listing price in seconds, save it as a draft, and watch today's sales tick by on the same screen. Operators also get the full daily/monthly/annual reports they see on the desktop, sized for a phone. Pair the device with a one-time code from Settings → Mobile devices on the web.
The web platform is fully web-based — sign in from any modern browser on a laptop, iPad, or phone. The two optional installs are the free Chrome side-panel extension for in-the-field price lookup (available to admins from the in-app Chrome Extension page) and the iOS companion app for iPhone (paired from your web dashboard).
You can run a storewide percent-off event (e.g. "10% off everything for Memorial Day") and per-booth vendor sales (each booth's own sale percent) at the same time, and the register stacks them in the right order automatically — vendor sale first, then storewide, then any cashier discount. Receipts and reports break out each layer separately so vendors and bookkeepers can see exactly what was discounted and why.
Add an item in one form, with a photo when you have one. Finds from photo lookup or a marketplace link arrive as drafts to review before adding them to inventory. Dealers manage their own items; admins can search the mall's inventory and see item photos at the register.

Yes. Our Chrome side-panel extension adds a "Look up in Vintique" item to the right-click menu on any image. Use it at an estate sale, on Marketplace, or anywhere else on the web to get a price suggestion and save the find straight into a Vintique collection. The token lives in your current browser session and you can revoke it any time.
Always. From Settings → Danger Zone you can request a full ZIP archive of every booth, transaction, gift card, item, hold, setting, and audit row — ready in minutes. If you schedule the workspace for deletion, you have a 30-day grace window to download the archive or restore the mall before anything is permanently removed.
Two layers. Every query in our app is filtered by tenant, and the database itself enforces row-level security policies as a backstop — so even a forgotten filter can't leak rows between malls. Photo uploads live under a per-mall folder in object storage, and a regression suite runs after every change to verify the isolation still holds.
